Roger Martin, Owner, has been involved in the woodworking business for 20 years. His passion for design and his ability to create beautiful things was clear when he started his own company at the age of 19.

Several years later, in order to gain more exposure in the field, Roger took a position with another local woodworking company. Although he was quite successful as the head of their high-end furniture department, Roger's desire to run his own business was not being fulfilled.  So, Roger started his own business Gracewood Lumber & Custom Drying Inc., where he dried lumber in a kiln he built with his own hands. Roger was able to provide many local woodworkers with choice pieces of wood, including the company where he was employed. For several years, Roger made high-end furniture pieces by day and dried lumber by night, but he realized that his true desire of marketing his own designs would not be realized until he pursued it full-time.

So, in the spring of 2004, Roger ambitiously pursued his business again, but this time with a broader offering of products and services, and a better fitting name, Lasting Impressions & Company Inc. And that is exactly what we do - we make lasting impressions on our customers and give their homes and places of business a touch of warmth that can only be gained by something very specialized, designed with their unique taste and needs and mind.
