Lasting Impressions Recognized by Ontario Green Spec in Builder/Architect Magazine for our Eco-friendly Building Initiatives
We're gaining recognition for our efforts to save the environment (featured on page 18 of the January 2010 Toronto edition of Builder/Architect magazine, link below). Also, we are proud to have been a part of the First Ontario GREEN Home in Kitchener. Our contribution includes dining room furniture, hardwood flooring and a kitchen island. Click to the "Environmental" tab to learn more about this project. Contact us directly to arrange a personal tour.

Article in GRAND Magazine
The exclusive GRAND Magazine sought us out for a special feature in last year's Home Decor issue. There are many woodworkers in our region, but Lasting Impressions is unique in that we have our own kiln where we dry local lumber. The attached article is posted with the permission of the editor, Carol Jankowski. Because of the size of this article, it may take few minutes to download.

Lasting Impressions Client Featured in Arabella Magazine
Arabella means "beautiful earth" in 11th Century Roman.
This publication with a focus on Canadian Art, Architecture and Design launched in fall 2008.
An editorial piece in their spring 2009 issue featured our clients and their dream home.
Photos like the contemporary stair treads pictured here show the diversity of our business.

When Roger met Julie...
Kind of sounds like a movie title, doesn't it? We're often asked the curious question of how we met.
Two people on different sides of the border with different talents that just happen to blend together beautifully.
We didn't just stumble upon one another; we believe it was truly meant to be. eHarmony finds our story interesting enough to share with the world, so, four years later, we'd like to share it, too!

Making a Difference Abroad
In July of this year, Roger realized a life-long dream; he put his skills to good use in a third world nation of desperate need. Roger and Julie joined a group from Waterloo to build a classroom in Kampalaa, Uganda, Africa for children who have been orphaned due to AIDS and civil war. Maybe little Lilly (the baby Roger is holding in this photo) will attend classes there someday! To learn more about the organization we partnered with, visit them online:
